Uçhisar natural stone fortress is the highest point in Cappadocia, visible for a great distance from the region other towns such as Urgup and Avanos (map).

Uçhisar has numerous hotels, inns, houses and hostels rental, some rooms cave like Kale Konak Hotel, but the main visitors reason I go there is to climb to the top of Hisar, outcrop high rock tunnels and enjoy the spectacular panoramic view, the best view of
Cappadocia, except for what you get from a hot air balloon.
