The Gallipoli Peninsula is located in the south of eastern Thrace, in the European part of Turkey in the west and the narrow Dardanelles in the east. Gallipoli is the Italian form of the Greek name Kallípolis, which means "beautiful city", the original name of the modern city Gelibolu. In ancient times, the peninsula was known as the Thracian Chersonese.

If you arrive in Gallipoli, you must visit the historical location of Gallipoli Mevlevihane.
The public beach with a 750-meter blue flag, which has been transformed into a coastal band for the public, has become a favorite for tourists. The beach is open 7 days a week between 10.00 and 18.00, with umbrellas and similar services.
Gelibolu War Museum There are three rooms on the left; dig team, retreat room and naval hall. The room of the diggers team is the historical room of the museum. There are frequent references to other wars. The withdrawal of the room is the withdrawal chamber of the allies. In this room are exposed the weapons and the various instruments left during the escape from the peninsula. They are deliberately cracked by the Allies. These include uniforms, preserves, vials, etc.
