Location:
Recently built, Hotel Ajwa Sultanahmet opened its doors for guests in 2017 and is located in the famous Sultanahmet area, a 10-minute walk from the Blue Mosque. The hotel is decorated in Ottoman style with traditional accents. Guestrooms feature handmade carpets and Ottoman-style sofas, a spa, and an indoor pool.

Guests can admire works of art by renowned Azerbaijani artists, including Sattar Bahlulzade, Mahmud Mahmudzade, İslam İsrafilzade, Jamila Hashimova, Salam Salamzade, Mikayil Abdullayev, Nadir Akhundov and Maral Rahmanzade. The Amber conference room is decorated with paintings by Rauf Tuncer, reminiscent of Istanbul in the past.

AJWA Sultanahmet offers tranquility and graceful hospitality in a setting resembling a private mansion. Embellished with exquisite mother-of-pearl furniture, Tabriz silk carpets, original artwork, unique marble work, hand-painted ceilings and specially commissioned tiles in its 61 rooms, suites and public areas, the hotel embraces all aspects of luxury hospitality with a halal approach.

Room types:

- Deluxe. The hotel's 48 Deluxe rooms have an average area of 32 sqm, with French or twin beds, and offer varied street and sea views. Each room allows an extra single bed or baby cot. Rooms feature solid walnut wood furniture and hand-woven silk carpets for your eyes to enjoy. Turquoise and ocher yellow gilded ceilings and LED lighting options are among the many features that ensure a memorable experience.

- Family Suite.  7 family suites overlooking the hotel's atrium with indoor vertical garden. Measuring 47 square meters each, these suites offer no external views. They consist of two rooms, the master bedroom with a French bed and a separate room with one. The master bedroom allows for an extra single bed and a baby cot, while the second bedroom has no space for any extra bed. This suite has only one master bathroom.  Velvet camel hair sofas, solid walnut wood furniture and headboards with Seljuk motifs are among the design highlights of familiar family suites. 

- Corner Suite. Measuring a generous area of 45 sqm each, the 5 corner apartments at AJWA Sultanahmet are decorated in shades of purple, lilac and Eau-de-Nile and furnished with comfortable Ottoman sofas. The beautiful mother-of-pearl inlaid chairs will take you on a journey into the city's imperial past. All marble bathrooms feature handmade tiles inspired by their unique historical counterparts in Istanbul. Offering varied street and sea views, it features a French bed and a spacious room allowing an extra single bed and a baby cot.

- Sultan Suite. The exquisite 120 sqm Sultan Apartment on the 7th floor of AJWA Sultanahmet lives up to its name! Composed of three distinct sections, this remarkable suite offers a truly unique experience. The first section, where burgundy tones predominate, constitutes the spacious dining room with a spectacular chandelier and living area. One can only admire the splendid carpentry, the ornate antique furniture made of mother-of-pearl, the painted ceilings and the original paintings that adorn the walls. The majestic bedroom, where rich green tones dominate, awaits its its guests the gorgeous comfort suitable for a palace. Finally, custom turquious tiles, double marble sinks, copper basins, spacious tub with jacuzzi, sauna and separate marble shower area define the grandeur that is the bathroom area; a miracle in itself.

Accommodation:
All rooms are equipped with Loewe Ultra HD TV, electric curtains, air conditioning and underfloor heating. The rooms also feature Tabriz-style silk rug, handmade and M Line Slow Motion beds. In the rooms there is a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathroom has hand-painted stoneware and Dornbracht glassware.

After a workout in the gym, guests can dine at the Zeferan restaurant on the 8th floor, with breathtaking views of the Marmara Sea, Princes' Islands and Sultanahmet.
