Arslan Bey Mansion is a magnificent historical building built in 1881 during the Ottoman Empire. One of the important features that contributed to its registration is the bay window located on the first floor. The bay window adds mobility to the exterior of the building by providing the connection of the space with the street, and thanks to the windows on three sides, it adds value to the space by taking advantage of the natural light at many times of the day and taking in the impressive view. Bay windows, also known among the public as “the exit where the incoming son, the expected lover and the incoming Decoy are watched”, have played an important role in social life in the original structure of this mansion.
