Bozuyuk is bordered by İnegöl to the west, Bilecik to the north, Tepebașı to the east, Kütahya and Tavșanlı to the south. The 2000 census placed the population at 61,150, and according to a 2010 estimate, the population was 57,491. Bozüyük has 7 cities and 45 villages and is economically dependent on Eskișehir. The city is 32 km from Bilecik and 45 km from Eskișeir.
From the ancient ruins it is understood that the Phrygians from the Balkans dominated the region after 1200 years.
The domination of the Cimmerians lasts for a century and ends with the arrival of the Lydians. In the following years, this region, where they lived perks, Macedonians and cattle, came under Roman rule from 395.
After the Ottoman-Russian war of 1877-1878, some of the Turks who migrated from the Balkans to Anatolia settled in Bozüyük. On September 4, 1922, Bozüyük survived the enemy occupation. Until 1924, it remained the suburb of Söğüt and became a district in 1924.
