Hisaronu was originally intended to provide accommodation for nearby Ölüdeniz, but Hisarönü now a holiday resort in itself and is popular with British tourists in particular.
Hisaronu is a mini-resort perched on a mountain plateau, overlooking the famous Olu Deniz lagoon and just a few minutes walk from the dolmus from Fethiye.
