Kas is the second between the resorts in this region of Turkey, with an abundance of tourist activities and a lively nightlife. Night is when the streets of Kas filled with lights, laughter and music, but often romantic atmosphere attracts especially young couples than noisy.
Favorite activity of tourists who come to Kas is gliding, but clear blue water of the great lures and diving, kayaking, sailing and swimming. Visitors with more developed sense of adventure travel are offered by jeep safari. At 2 km from the sea shore is the Greek island of Kastelorizo (Megisti in Greek and Adasi Meis in Turkish) - island can be seen from the beach and you can take a trip with a rented boat or ferry.
Because the beaches of Kas are tiny pebble and many tourists prefer Patara beach nearby. You can make small boat trips to Ucagiz, Kaleköy Blue Cave. You may also visit the neighboring village of Kalkan, or go hiking in the mountains, to the rock tombs. Kas is a perfect base to explore the historic sites in the region - Demre (near Kale), Patara, Xanthos (near Kinik) Letoonia, Saklikent and Tlos.
