Kemer is a city in southwestern Turkey, located on the Mediterranean coast at the foot of Taurus Mountains. It has 17,300 inhabitants and is the administrative center of the district with the same name in Antalya province and an important tourist resort. The port provides facilities for water sports and on the seafront near the port are many shops, cafes, restaurants and chic bars. Gulf beaches and lush Kemer make one of the most popular resorts on the Turkish Riviera.
The climate is typically Mediterranean in Kemer, with hot and dry weather and warm sea water. The weather is sunny about 300 days a year. Sea temperature is 10-12 degrees Celsius in winter, 27-29 degrees Celsius in summer timul.
