Adana is a city in the central - southern Turkey on the Seyhan River Plain Cilicia, 30 km from the Mediterranean coast, with 1,041,509 (1997) inhabitants.
It is an important industrial and agricultural center, one of the largest cities of Turkey.

Other attractions include Saat Kulesi clock tower dating from 1881, the ethnographic museum, held inside a former Crusader churches and contain a rich collection of carpets, swords, tombstones and manuscripts and archaeological museum.

Over the Seyhan Dam, there are numerous restaurants and teahouses that offer an overview of the city and an ideal place for admiring a sunset story.
