HISTORICAL MONUMENTS:
Archeological artefacts from the Phrygian period are marble columns from the Ankara Museum, the women's relief bust and the sarcophagus cap near the Çamyayla village. Ören Mevkii, 1.5 km southwest of Göynücek village; there are church remnants;
Mosque and Kasımpașa complex: The walls of the mosque built by Kasımpașa between 1525-1528 are made of cut stone. The mosque pulpit, which is rich in tile decoration, is decorated with white marble and the column headings are decorated with motifs. The pedestal
of the minaret is made of smooth red stone. The 32.50 meter high minaret has a single balcony. The mosque was repaired in 1938-1939.
Atatürk Forest Mansion: It was built by Colonel Brahim Çolak. Atatürk was housed in this mansion during his visit to the district on June 10, 1930. The Colak Ibrahim Bey Mansion is located in the center of the city and built in the style of Bulgarian architecture.
